The payment is not what I understood
Compare the amount financed, dealer fees, interest rate, term, and any payment change that depends on a future prepayment.
Solar loan cancellation
A solar loan and the installation contract are often separate documents with separate companies. Whether either can be cancelled, changed, or disputed depends on their terms, the timing, and applicable law.
No fee to submit. No guaranteed outcome.

What this covers
Each situation is different. These are the questions we hear most often when a financed system is involved.
Compare the amount financed, dealer fees, interest rate, term, and any payment change that depends on a future prepayment.
A lender, a servicer, and an installer may each hold part of the story. Contacting the wrong one costs time.
What a review looks at
In many financed projects the homeowner signs an installation or purchase agreement with a contractor and a loan agreement with a lender. The two documents may refer to each other, but they can contain different notice addresses, different deadlines, and different dispute steps.
A contract-first review identifies each company, the document that names it, and the notice or dispute procedure written into that document. It then compares the written terms with the timeline of what actually happened.
The goal is a clearer picture of the options you may have to ask about: a written inquiry to the installer, a dispute with the lender or servicer, a complaint to a state or federal agency, or a conversation with a licensed attorney. We do not tell you which is right, and we do not promise a loan will be cancelled or forgiven.
How it works
Share your agreement type, when you signed, whether installation or activation has happened, and your main concern.
Gather the loan agreement, disclosures, installation contract, proposal, and messages so the parties and dates are easy to see.
Review what the documents say about notices and disputes and identify who to contact and what to ask.
Loan questions
Sometimes, but not always. It depends on the agreement, whether a cancellation right applied, when notice was given, and whether work or funding has already happened. Read the notice of cancellation and loan documents closely and consider asking a licensed attorney about deadlines.
Do not stop payments based on general information. Missed payments can carry credit and contract consequences. Raise your concern in writing with the responsible company first and seek qualified advice if a deadline may be running.
No. Cancel Solar is an educational and intake service, not a law firm or lender. We help you understand your documents and options.
