Information we collect

When you submit an intake or contact form, we collect the information you choose to provide, which may include your name, email address, phone number, state, solar agreement type, main concern, contact preference, message, consent, and the page from which you submitted the form.

We ask that you do not submit Social Security numbers, bank or card information, account passwords, government identification numbers, or unredacted documents through the public form.

Our hosting and analytics providers may process standard technical information such as an IP address, browser type, device type, referring page, requested page, and approximate location derived from network information. The current site can use Cloudflare Web Analytics when a site token is configured. That service is intended to provide aggregate site-usage information.

How we use information

We use submitted information to respond to your request, understand the type of solar concern presented, improve our educational content and intake process, protect the site from abuse, maintain records, and comply with applicable obligations.

We do not use the public intake form to make automated decisions about legal rights or outcomes. Submitting information does not create an attorney-client relationship.

How information is stored and shared

Intake submissions are stored in a Cloudflare D1 database associated with this website. Service providers may process information on our behalf for hosting, security, analytics, content management, communication, and operational support. We may also disclose information when required by law, to protect rights and safety, or in connection with a business transaction.

We do not sell personal information for money. If our practices change, this policy should be updated before the change takes effect.

Retention and security

We retain information for as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes described here, to maintain appropriate records, and to meet legal or operational requirements. No method of electronic transmission or storage is completely secure, but we use reasonable administrative and technical measures suited to the information we handle.

Your choices

You may ask to access, correct, or delete information you submitted, subject to verification and any applicable retention obligations. You may also ask us to stop non-essential communications. Use the contact page and clearly describe the request.

Privacy rights can vary by location. This general policy does not waive rights that cannot legally be waived.

Children

This website is intended for adults handling residential solar matters and is not directed to children.
